Alliance Française de Chittagong is a wing of Alliance Française (AF), an international organization which was founded in 1983 in Paris mainly to promote French language, culture and education in the world. AF has about hundreds of centres in Africa, Americas, Asia, and Europe.
Alliance Française de Chittagong (AFC) was founded in 1965, and now located at K.B.Fazlul Kader Road, Panchlaish, (beside People's Hospital Chittagong at Chawkbazar and/or Chittagong Medical area) Chittagong. There are two main centres of Alliance Française in Bangladesh known as Alliance Française de Dhaka and Alliance Française de Chittagong. Thousands of students, professionals, officials of different organizations have taken the test of French language and culture. At different occasions it organizes cultural programs, concerts, exhibitions, etc.
Office Hour: Monday to Thursday (10am to 12pm & 4pm to 8.30pm); Friday & Saturday (4pm to 8.30pm); and Sunday: closed.
