Bangladesh Institute of Journalism and Electronic Media (BIJEM) is the first media institute in private sector in Bangladesh. The Institute is mostly known as BIJEM in Bangladesh. It was established in 2003 as a non-profitable organization related to journalism and electronic media in Bangladesh. Its former name was Bangladesh Institute of Communication Studies and Public Relations (BICSPR). In September 2007, the name, BICSPR, changed to its present name, BIJEM.
BIJEM provides lots of art education, training, research, publication… programs. These programs are connected with the Journalism, Mass Communication, Mass Media, Public Relations and Information & Communication Technology. Frankly speaking, BIJEM is one of the top and reputed Journalism and Electronic Media Institutes in Bangladesh.
