Bangladesh Association of Nashville (BAN) is a non-profit Bangladeshi community organization established to promote and share Bengali cultural heritage in Tennessee State. BAN was established in April 1993 by the immense contribution of Dr. M. Sarkar and Dr. Jahan. Bangladesh Association of Nashville organizes various programs to observe national & cultural events. It organizes programs on the Independence Day, Victory Day, International Mother Language Day, Pahela Baishak, and Eid Day. BAN also organizes picnic, iftar party, eid reunion, fashion show, drama, comedy show and more. Since 2006, Bangladesh Association of Nashville has been published a cultural magazine named 'BORTIKA'. The Organization accepts members from different cities around Nashville including Clarksville, Franklin, Hendersonville, Murfreesboro, and Tullahoma. The person who has interest in BAN’s culture and heritage can join with it.
