Chittagong Boat Club (CBC) is a prestigious social club located at East Patenga in Chittagong, Bangladesh. This is an elite club of the Military Officers, Civil Elites, Bureaucrats, and so on. Though CBC was established in 1986, it formally opened on August 8, 1990. Chittagong Boat Club was become apparent by the dynamic initiative of Late Rear Admiral Sultan Ahmed, the then Chief of Naval Staff of Bangladesh Navy.
In 1986, CBC was registered in the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms (RJSC), Government of Bangladesh. The Club was built on 2.1 acres of land which was taken lease from Chittagong Port Authority (CPA).
The affairs of Chittagong Boat Club are managed by a President, (who is the Chief of Naval Staff), a Vice-President (the Commodore Commanding BN Flotilla - COMBAN), a Duty Vice President (Commodore Commanding Chittagong - COMCHIT), three other Vice-Presidents and seventeen (17) members drawn from the Civil Elites and Military Officers.
Chittagong Boat Club (CBC) has the following facilities - Guest House, Restaurant, CBC Multipurpose Convention Center (MCC), Mini Hall Room, Ball Room, Bar, Swimming Pool, Cruise Vessel, Boat Club House, Water Sports, Holiday Resort, Coffee N Cream Corner, etc.
